The Character Counts Pillar for the month of November is Citizenship.

Think about the rights and freedoms we enjoy as citizens of the United States and as citizens of Warwick School. We have many rights and freedoms which make this a great country to live in and our school a good place to be.

Each morning as we sing the “Star Spangled Banner” and say the “Pledge of Allegiance” to the flag, do you think about being a good neighbor by obeying the laws and rules? Throughout the day do you listen to your teacher and respect the authority of the adults in charge? Do you do your share to make this a better community to live in by protecting the environment? Do you pick up the piece of paper you dropped on the floor rather than leave it there for someone else to do? So for the month of November, remember to be a good citizen at school and in the community.
Warwick Celebrates Bus Safety

National Bus Safety Week was October 22– 26, 2007. During the

beginning of October, students at Warwick celebrated Bus Safety Week by drawing and coloring original bus safety posters that they made during art class. The theme of the posters was a bus safety rule that the student chose to illustrate. Then, the classroom teachers chose the five best posters from each class. These posters were hung in the halls and cafeteria at Warwick for display. The Discipline Committee judged the posters with the following results. (Winning posters will be displayed at the Board of Education in November.)
